Currently looking for a freelance Azure Solution Architect with strong leadership skills and a technical background.
As an Azure Solution Architect specializing in Azure, you will collaborate closely with DevOps teams to facilitate the development and deployment of solutions on a cloud platform. This involves tasks such as solution design, knowledge sharing, collaborative planning, cost management discussions, and potentially setting up Proof of Concepts.
This pivotal role is integral to the Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE), which strives to deliver a dynamic and dependable automated cloud platform. The overarching goal is to accelerate and sustain the adoption of cloud technologies across the organization, optimizing the realization of benefits while minimizing risks. The focus is on supporting growth and introducing innovative cloud solutions to various teams.
Starting date: A.S.A.P
Hours/week: 32-40.
Working location: 3 days at the office in Noord-Brabant.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expertise and leadership regarding cloud architecture;
- Contribute to technical roadmaps for future Azure Cloud implementations;
- Participate in and contribute to Cloud Architecture for cloud-based applications;
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to create solution designs using cloud-native patterns where possible;
- Assist in improving automation capabilities of the DevOps teams;
- Identify new needed cloud services to be developed and align with CCoE product owner;
- Review and/or approve technical solutions – ensuring compliance with directives, standards, and guidelines;
- Ensure that the implementation is in line with design;
- Integrate security and reliability into all cloud architecture solutions;
- Discuss cloud cost management and cost forecasts with the DevOps team to raise cost awareness and ensure the team plans for budget;
- Act as a subject-matter expert around Azure.
